After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Commanders committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Hopper at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Jayden Daniels and all.
