A sensible, unshowy class lands the 49ers a B.

Nobody else had Eli Heidenreich anywhere near pick 192. The 49ers did, by 50 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Everette. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
