You build a draft on nights like this. Lander Barton had no business being available in the 208th pick, and the Chargers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
