Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Packers spent the Round 4 slot on Braylan Shelby, a name most had 93 spots down the list. Put together, it is a D.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Moss value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, wide receiver very much included.
