Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Packers spent pick No. 246 on DeMonte Capehart, a name the board had a full 29 spots lower. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Isaac. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
