The Chargers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a A.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Chargers were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A.

They banked enough surplus on Spann-Ford to cover a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Chargers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In the end it comes back to Malik Nabers, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
