You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Commanders did exactly that with Jaydon Blue in No. 248.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Reed pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
