The Bears let Edwards fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Donovan Edwards tumbling to the Bears in pick No. 242 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

If Jackson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
