Grand theft in pick No. 147: the Bears steal Skattebo and grade out a D-.

The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

Lachey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Skattebo to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
