Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesD- FutureA+
Quarterback settled, Allar in the fold, and a B- for the Raiders.

The Trey Moore selection is the head-turner. The Raiders reached 91 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The whole projection now runs through Drew Allar; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The offensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Drew Allar
In the Round 1 slot they get a passer to set the clock by at fair value.
Pick53 Rnd2 Carson Beck
Carson Beck at the 53rd overall pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It fills a real need, too.
Pick71 Rnd3 DeAndre Moore Jr.
DeAndre Moore Jr. in No. 71 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick107 Rnd4 Domani Jackson
Good price on Domani Jackson in Round 4, Pick 5, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick135 Rnd4 Trey Moore
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Trey Moore. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick146 Rnd5 Kyle Louis
Fair-plus on Kyle Louis, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick160 Rnd5 Dane Key
A reasonable price with a little left over, Dane Key in the Round 5 slot. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick185 Rnd6 Jalon Daniels
A top-tier quarterback at a bargain, Jalon Daniels in the 185th overall pick, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick220 Rnd7 London Humphreys
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on London Humphreys. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick252 Rnd7 Kendrick Law
They paid up for Kendrick Law at Round 7, Pick 36 when waiting would have done the job. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
