Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Bills let Sturdivant fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. J.Michael Sturdivant tumbling to the Bills in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Every board in the league had Moore lower, and that gap is the story.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Cayden Green
In slot 32 they get an anchor for the offensive line, though they paid up to get him. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick64 Rnd2 Nicholas Singleton
By-the-book stuff, Nicholas Singleton at Round 2, Pick 32 squarely in line with his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick102 Rnd3 Isaiah Nwokobia
They took Isaiah Nwokobia at par in pick No. 102, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Pick132 Rnd4 Austin Romaine
They read the board right and Austin Romaine was the payoff at pick 132. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick141 Rnd5 Connor Tollison
The board had cheaper options than Connor Tollison at the 141st pick, and it noticed. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick217 Rnd7 Trey Moore
Trey Moore in the Round 7 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick222 Rnd7 J.Michael Sturdivant
They barely believed it either: J.Michael Sturdivant still on the board at the 222nd overall pick. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick245 Rnd7 Ethan Onianwa
Ethan Onianwa in No. 245 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
