Whoever sat across the table from the Patriots should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

If Lutmer pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

The Nelson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Patriots paired the rookies with proven help, Brock Bowers leading the way.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
