The Chargers let Gould fall into their laps, and walked away with a A.

The board owed the Chargers one, and it paid up: Anthony Gould, the No. 142 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 256 like a gift left on the doorstep. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Chargers indulged a want in Trotter Jr. while a need in edge rusher and quarterback stayed open.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In the end it comes back to Nate Wiggins, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
