Larceny in the Round 3 slot lands the Patriots a A-, Watts and all.

The real work happened on the phones. The Patriots fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

Landing Watts that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Kendall has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Bottom line, with Josh Simmons leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
