Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Seahawks.

There is reaching, and then there is Charles Grant at slot 50. The Seahawks jumped the board by 44 and dared it to prove them wrong. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Broughton. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

In slot 20 they get protection for the quarterback, reach and all. The biggest hole, addressed.

They reached into another round for Charles Grant, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
