A solid, sensible weekend for the Seahawks: B-.

Every other box got a look, but edge rusher did not. The Seahawks will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Every board in the league had Wilson lower, and that gap is the story. Campbell falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Pick Analysis
Pick18 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In slot 18 they get a seam-stretching tight end. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick50 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell is a better player than the 50th overall pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick52 Rnd2 Jayden Higgins
Jayden Higgins at the 52nd pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick82 Rnd3 Jared Wilson
Jared Wilson at Round 3, Pick 18 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick92 Rnd3 Dylan Fairchild
A premium they did not need to pay, Dylan Fairchild a notch or two before his time. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
