Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Seahawks robbed the room for Mukuba. Final grade: B-.

Call it larceny. Andrew Mukuba sat on the board until pick No. 137, and the Seahawks did not need to be asked twice. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Every board in the league had Milroe lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick18 Rnd1 Tyler Warren
In pick No. 18 they get a mismatch in the passing game at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick50 Rnd2 Donovan Ezeiruaku
A straight-up fair deal on Donovan Ezeiruaku at the 50th pick, value and slot in agreement. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick52 Rnd2 Jalen Milroe
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Jalen Milroe well ahead of where he belonged. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick82 Rnd3 Maxwell Hairston
Somehow Maxwell Hairston was still sitting there in pick 82, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick92 Rnd3 Jared Wilson
They jumped the gun on Jared Wilson, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick137 Rnd4 Andrew Mukuba
You do not let a safety like Andrew Mukuba reach the Round 4 slot and blink. They did not. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick172 Rnd5 Clay Webb
They left a pile of value on the table to take Clay Webb this early at slot 172. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick175 Rnd5 Thomas Fidone II
A big swing on Thomas Fidone II at the 175th overall pick, well ahead of any board in the building. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick223 Rnd7 Isaac TeSlaa
A reach for Isaac TeSlaa in the 223rd overall pick; a little patience would have been rewarded. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick234 Rnd7 Phil Mafah
A clean, defensible pick in No. 234 with a little surplus value in Phil Mafah. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
