Call it larceny. Cody Simon sat on the board until pick No. 234, and the Seahawks did not need to be asked twice. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They will need Jackson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
