Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA- FutureB+
The Seahawks robbed the room for Gordon II. Final grade: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Ollie Gordon II tumbling to the Seahawks in pick 210 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. If Morrison pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The Matthew Bergeron pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick21 Rnd1 Harold Fannin Jr.
In the Round 1 slot they get a mismatch in the passing game. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick49 Rnd2 Jalen Milroe
Jalen Milroe in the 49th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick80 Rnd3 Malaki Starks
Taking Malaki Starks in Round 3, Pick 16 is close to grand larceny; a safety that good had no business lasting this long. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick122 Rnd4 Harold Perkins Jr.
Harold Perkins Jr. is a better player than No. 122 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick136 Rnd4 Jaeden Roberts
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jaeden Roberts. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick173 Rnd5 Benjamin Morrison
Benjamin Morrison at pick No. 173 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick191 Rnd6 Parker Brailsford
Parker Brailsford at slot 191 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick210 Rnd6 Ollie Gordon II
Ollie Gordon II in pick 210 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick230 Rnd7 Barrett Carter
They will replay Barrett Carter at pick No. 230 for years; that is how good the value is. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
