The Bears worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The Zinter reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
