The steal of the weekend belongs to the Vikings and Stewart: D.

The Vikings spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Josaiah Stewart, the No. 53 name on the board, in the 222nd overall pick. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.
