The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Fernando Mendoza, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Jatta pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Johnson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

They will answer for taking safety early while edge rusher and tight end went begging. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
