The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B. The Bears went off the board in a big way for Cornelius Johnson, 77 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.
Whatever J.J. McCarthy becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bears clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
