The Chiefs finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The Chiefs spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Troy Fautanu, the No. 116 name on the board, in the Round 5 slot. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Everything downstream of J.J. McCarthy depends on J.J. McCarthy, and the building knows it. The Marshall Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
