There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Jets started one anyway for Fadil Diggs, 87 picks ahead of schedule.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Cam Ward is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. The Noel steal is the beam this whole class leans on.
