The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

Everything downstream of Caleb Williams depends on Caleb Williams, and the building knows it. With edge rusher and linebacker unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Coleman falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
