Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

If Roberts pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

Landing Egbuka that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
