The Chiefs spent real capital to be 22 picks early on Tyler Baron, and the board is going to hold them to it. No fireworks, but a solid B.

That Loveland pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
