The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Kalen King, the 83rd overall pick, roughly 35 picks past where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
