A respectable, level-headed haul for the Bears: B-. The Bears treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 118th overall pick on J.Michael Sturdivant a full 98 spots early. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
Mullings falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They will answer for taking tight end early while quarterback went begging.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The veteran additions, Ted Karras chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
