After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The Rouse reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
