Lawson should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Deontae Lawson had no business being available in pick No. 183, and the Seahawks did the only sane thing and turned in the card. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
