FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks

FutureB
Brooks should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B. When a board-topper like Tahj Brooks slides to the 234th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Seahawks did not.
A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. Igbinosun has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick Analysis
Pick34
Rnd2
Mike Green
Mike Green at pick 34 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick50
Rnd2
Nick Emmanwori
Taking Nick Emmanwori in slot 50 is close to grand larceny; a safety that good had no business lasting this long. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick65
Rnd3
Tyler Warren
They barely believed it either: Tyler Warren still on the board at No. 65. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick82
Rnd3
Charles Grant
Charles Grant in the 82nd overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick136
Rnd4
Jake Majors
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Jake Majors in Round 4, Pick 35, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick173
Rnd5
Barrett Carter
They robbed the room for Barrett Carter here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick184
Rnd6
Connor Colby
Connor Colby slipping to pick No. 184 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick210
Rnd6
Davison Igbinosun
Davison Igbinosun at the Round 6 slot jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick234
Rnd7
Tahj Brooks
Tahj Brooks in the 234th pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
