Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B
ValueC+ NeedB TradesA- FutureB-
Grand theft in Round 7, Pick 11: the Ravens steal Dixon and grade out a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Johnny Dixon tumbling to the Ravens in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Logue has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Jordan Morgan
No edge and no loss on Jordan Morgan in pick No. 33; it is a wash and a sensible one. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick62 Rnd2 Ja'Lynn Polk
Ja'Lynn Polk in the 62nd overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick75 Rnd3 Marshawn Kneeland
They paid sticker price for Marshawn Kneeland in the Round 3 slot, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick93 Rnd3 Khyree Jackson
They took Khyree Jackson at par in No. 93, which is nothing to complain about. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick113 Rnd4 Isaac Guerendo
A reach on Isaac Guerendo in slot 113; the board had better options right there. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick122 Rnd4 Tommy Eichenberg
Tommy Eichenberg at pick 122 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick130 Rnd4 Mason McCormick
Mason McCormick at Round 4, Pick 30 is a conviction pick that outran the value. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick137 Rnd5 James Williams
Value with a capital V on James Williams in the 137th pick, a genuine coup. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick164 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
A clean, defensible pick in Round 5, Pick 28 with a little surplus value in Tykee Smith. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Pick165 Rnd5 Jordan Travis
Jordan Travis at the Round 5 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick218 Rnd6 Cedric Johnson
Cedric Johnson at pick 218 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick228 Rnd7 Tylan Grable
Tylan Grable in No. 228 is fair value, right on his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick231 Rnd7 Johnny Dixon
They robbed the room for Johnny Dixon here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick250 Rnd7 Zion Logue
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Zion Logue well ahead of where he belonged. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
