The steal of the weekend belongs to the Ravens and Wallace: B-.

Somebody in the 250th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Ravens sat still while Caedan Wallace, the No. 213 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Every board in the league had Wallace lower, and that gap is the story. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Chop Robinson
In the 30th pick they get a double-digit-sack hope, outstanding value to boot.
Pick62 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
A reasonable price with a little left over, Xavier Worthy in Round 2, Pick 30. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick93 Rnd3 Christian Mahogany
A straight-up fair deal on Christian Mahogany at pick No. 93, value and slot in agreement. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick113 Rnd4 Cam Hart
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Cam Hart at the Round 4 slot. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick130 Rnd4 Roger Rosengarten
Roger Rosengarten in the 130th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick165 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
A tidy little value on Tykee Smith in slot 165, a step better than break-even. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick218 Rnd6 Trevin Wallace
Trevin Wallace at pick 218 is a conviction pick that outran the value. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick228 Rnd7 Frank Gore Jr.
By-the-book stuff, Frank Gore Jr. at No. 228 squarely in line with his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick250 Rnd7 Caedan Wallace
The board fumbled Caedan Wallace all the way to the 250th pick, and they scooped it up. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
