Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cardinals spent slot 190 on Bub Means, a name the board had a full 56 spots lower.

Landing McGlothern that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The Cardinals indulged a want in Jackson while a need in quarterback stayed open. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
