The 49ers won the night they stopped Sanders from sliding. Grade: B+.

Somebody in slot 204 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The 49ers sat still while Raheim Sanders, the No. 180 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
