Melton should have been long gone. The Bills pounced, and earned a B-.

Priorities are a choice, and the Bills made a strange one, taking Javon Solomon at OLB-EDGE in No. 99 with tight end crying out for the pick instead. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Getting Melton where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
