The Bears put a flag in the ground for David Walker, 62 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
