Somebody in pick No. 229 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Zion Nelson, the No. 209 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The Whittington reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Adding Donovan Wilson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
