You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Evan Anderson in the 250th overall pick.

The Kinchens value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
