The move everyone will second-guess came early. The 49ers reached some 40 spots for Collin Oliver, and value like that does not grow back.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

However the rest shakes out, Egbuka at that price is a win they earned.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
