NeedA-

FutureB-
The Lions worked the phones like thieves and earned a B. The trade table was a mismatch, and the Lions were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. No fireworks, but a solid B.
If Tuimoloau pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. On value alone, Watts makes the weekend a net positive. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick28
Rnd1
JT Tuimoloau
In slot 28 they get a bendy edge with upside, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick60
Rnd2
Xavier Watts
They let Xavier Watts come to them and pounced at No. 60. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick61
Rnd2
Azareye'h Thomas
Azareye'h Thomas in Round 2, Pick 29 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick66
Rnd3
Tate Ratledge
They went early on Tate Ratledge in the Round 3 slot, and the value did not follow. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick101
Rnd3
Jordan Phillips
They jumped the gun on Jordan Phillips, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
