A costly weekend of dealing drags the Giants to a F.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Giants did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. The veteran additions, JC Latham chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
