After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Hall Jr.. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

McCarthy has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
