The Bears ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

They will answer for taking safety early while cornerback, linebacker and other spots went begging. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Bishop.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They are betting Cohen proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Bottom line, with Joe Alt leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
