You could see the war room lean forward. Jalen Milroe at Round 6, Pick 4 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They have staked the next five years on Cam Ward, which is the only story that really matters here. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The Castro pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, tight end and other spots still on the board.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
