This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Will Echoles, the No. 18 name on the board, stolen at pick 63. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Jahdae Barron gives the group a proven body among the projects.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
