You build a draft on nights like this. A'Mauri Washington had no business being available in pick 71, and the Commanders did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Adding Denzel Ward by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
