The one they had to fix is still broken. The Commanders left tight end untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.

They banked enough surplus on Stone to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Jack Jones deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
